The One Key Difference Between Successful People and Unsuccessful People

…is called (self-) limited thinking. 🤯

Once you get into the spiral of practising self-limited thinking, you already weakened (if not frozen) yourself at the start line.

🧠 You (or your brain) become(s) so fixated and distracted through all the excuses you are making up on why you can’t do something that you don’t even provide yourself with the opportunity to even TRY.

This limited thinking is the number one reason why you don’t achieve your goals and dreams.

Here are a few tips on how to finally get over (self-) limited thinking:

1. Identify the limiting step!


What is the one thing that dictates how long it will take to achieve your goal? 🎯

Answer this question and move on to creating a breakthrough plan.

Sounds huge but is very simple.

Make a plan for how to achieve your goal by removing this one limited thing. ✍️

Having the ability to identify your personal limiting step is a clear demonstration of your intelligence.

And your ability to remove this particular step showcases your overall capability in achieving ANYTHING YOU WANT in life.


2) Overcome your limiting belief through establishing strong self-confidence 👍

To be able to develop this you need to understand the law of focus and concentration (no, I am not talking about the law of attraction).

The law of concentrations suggests that anything you focus on grows into your reality.

Anything you think about for a long period of time, over and over again (and hard enough), eventually becomes one with your mental processes, so that it will reflect itself automatically in your actions and mindset. 🧠

If you constantly think about independence, bravery and assertiveness, you become gradually more independent, braver and more assertive. Easy, right?

If you want to be seen as self-confident from the outside world you first must practise it on the inside first. 💠

You are not what you think you are but what you think you are. Let that sink in. 🤓 Read this again.

Once you have established the unshakable self-confidence from within, it will allow you to play outside of your comfort zone, and as we know, that’s where the magic happens. 🌟

Now EVERYTHING is possible.

You are now ready to attack the next step.


3) Create a clear plan of actions that allow you to move forward and overcome the obstacles which will be thrown your way ⚔️

The secret here is to set attainable goals. Do not set goals which are too high to reach as that will leave you discouraged (at least at the beginning!).

You need to get past the first steps first before setting huge goals as they can seem too far out of reach and they may destroy your motivation.

So when setting goals, make sure they are achievable, realistic, clearly defined and most importantly measurable (so you can see progress!).

Because progress equals happiness.

You want to have ONE major goal (aka Northstar) in mind (or better on paper!) which you are constantly working towards. 🤩

Create a list of all the smaller things you need to do to achieve your #1 goal. Your Northstar. 🤩 🤩

If you don’t know your Northstar, do this:


4) Write down a list of 10 things you would love to accomplish in your life

Look at the list and choose the one which would have the biggest impact in your life, IF you would achieve this within the next day.

This goal becomes your purpose and your Northstar.

Now go and write a list of all the things you need to do achieve your #1 goal and PUT A DEADLINE ON IT.

I can not stress this enough. A goal without a deadline is just a dream.


5) Take action 🎬

None of the above is helpful if you don’t take action.

So let’s do it.

Commit to working towards your Northstar every single day, prioritise your list of things to do, try crossing off one thing at the time.

You will hit roadblocks and you will see yourself stopping and struggling.

But because you are smart, you will identify what is stopping you, and you will go back to 1) from this post and you will go through the process, identify what’s stopping you, develop unshakable self-confidence, make an action plan and go smash it.

This exercise will help you to set yourself free from limited thinking and achieve your personal and business goals.
